Distribute and Acknowledge 2026 Group SPDs by March 1

March 1 is the deadline to distribute 2026 summary plan description (SPD) documents to employees in your cooperative’s plans under the NRECA Group Benefits Program. If you haven’t already, download them and distribute them now.

SPDs are available to BAs on the Group Plan Documents page of the Employee Benefits website. Before distribution, review your documents to verify that they reflect your human resources policies and annual renewal elections (e.g., eligibility requirements, premium cost-sharing, deductibles and coinsurance). During acknowledgement, you must verify that you have performed this review.

Acknowledge distribution on the Group Plan Documents page under “Documents Requiring Acknowledgement.” Be sure to also acknowledge older SPDs and SMMs. Keep a printed copy of all acknowledgement confirmations in your plan files for future research and reference.
