Current and Upcoming CVS Caremark Participant Outreach Campaigns

During July, CVS CaremarkTM, NRECA’s pharmacy benefit manager, is conducting a phone survey of randomly selected NRECA Medical Plan participants who use the plan’s prescription drug benefit.

This survey is designed to capture participants’ feedback on CVS Caremark’s services, such as mail service, retail pharmacy and customer care. If you have questions about the survey, call CVS Caremark Customer Care at 888.796.7322.

Letter Encourages Exclusive Choice Pharmacies
In mid-August, CVS Caremark is also sending a letter to select medical plan participants to highlight the money-saving benefits of using Exclusive Choice pharmacies.

The letter will be mailed to plan participants who are not using an Exclusive Choice pharmacy to fill their prescriptions for maintenance medications.

Unique to NRECA, the Exclusive Choice network* offers greater price discounts on all prescription drugs. Exclusive Choice pharmacies include CVS (including inside Target stores), Walmart, Sam’s Club, The Medicine Shoppe and various independent pharmacies across the country. The CVS Caremark Mail Service is also part of the Exclusive Choice network.

The letter will include a list of Exclusive Choice pharmacies closest to the participant’s home address. Participants can search for Exclusive Choice pharmacies through the Employee Benefits website by going to cooperative.com > My Benefits > My Insurance > Manage Your Prescriptions > Plan & Benefits > Pharmacy Locator. An Exclusive Choice pharmacy is identified as a “Preferred Pharmacy.”

*Participants in Florida, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee and West Virginia use the Extended-Day Supply network in place of the Exclusive Choice network. These pharmacies are labeled “Retail 90” in the Pharmacy Locator.
