Coming Soon: 125 Plan and HRA Open Enrollment
Open enrollment begins Saturday, November 1, for the coming year’s 125 Plan and health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) plans.
If your cooperative will offer one or both of these plans administered by Cooperative Benefit Administrators, Inc. (CBA) in 2026, you’ll need to enroll your employees between November 1–30.
To prepare, visit the 125 Plan and HRA Open Enrollment page to find information and resources that walk you through the process and help ensure your enrollments go smoothly.
To complete your enrollments on or after November 1, go to the Manage 125 Plan and HRA page in the BA Guide.
Note: Funding form deadline is November 13
Beginning February 1, 2026, co-ops must pay administrative fees related to claims administration services for flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and HRAs by automated clearing house (ACH) debit. Paper checks will no longer be accepted. Your co-op must complete an Employer Administrative Fee Funding Form by November 13, 2025, to authorize ACH payments for FSA, HRA and/or retiree HRA admin fees. Co-ops offering these plans will receive an email this week with details.
Reminder: If your co-op sponsors a 125 Plan, please submit your 2026 payroll calendar, if you haven’t already, at cba.fsa.hra@nreca.coop.
