Basic Benefits Training Course Canceled

NRECA is committed to the well-being of our members, their families and the communities we live and work in. We are closely monitoring the evolution of the COVID-19 virus (also known as coronavirus). In accordance with health guidance from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and other health authorities, NRECA has made the decision to cancel the in-person BBTC scheduled for May 5 – 7, 2020.

We are exploring other ways to provide educational content from our BBTC presenters that can best support our benefits administrator community. We look forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks.

Current registrants of the BBTC should cancel their travel and hotel reservations. To cancel reservations at the Westin Arlington Gateway Hotel, call 888.627.7076 or 703.717.6200. To cancel BBTC registrations online, sign into cooperative.com, go to My Registrations > Manage > Cancel. Please note that only those individuals who processed the registration (registrar) and the registrant can process a cancellation online.

One-on-one training opportunities are available through the team of NRECA benefits services representatives. This team is happy to arrange for training through web conferencing, the phone or through email. Reach out to the team at IFSBSR@nreca.coop to discuss how to support your co-op’s training needs.
