Another Reason to Visit the Employee Benefits Website

NRECA launched the redesigned Employee Benefits website in March, creating a simplified, intuitive experience for benefits administrators (BAs) and employees. Your feedback allows us to continuously improve the website’s functionality, making it a key destination for benefit plan information and resources.  Additional enhancements for BAs were launched in October including new 401(k) contributions, 401(k) loan repayments, designate beneficiary events and the employee administration dashboard.

We recognize that Annual Enrollment is an important time for you and your cooperative’s employees. To help you promote use of the website by your employees, we’ve developed a postcard highlighting the many resources available online. This postcard can be handed out at benefits fairs, mailed or delivered to employee mailboxes.

Additionally, our newest enhancement to the website is the Find a Doctor search engine, which makes it easier than ever to find a health care provider in the United Healthcare network.* NRECA Medical Plan participants will experience:

  • New point-and-click icons that simplify navigation
  • More search categories that are clear and intuitive (People, Places, Tests and Imaging, Services and Treatments and Care by Condition)
  • A navigation process that asks questions specific to each category to guide participants to the best search results for their needs
  • Language and descriptions that are easier to understand
  • English and Spanish language options

The best way to appreciate the enhancements is to view them live – encourage your employees to log in today. To order the postcard (code RGPC15003), call the Member Contact Center at 866.673.2299 or email them at contactcenter@nreca.coop. Representatives are available Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm CT.

*When accessed from the Employee Benefits website, the Find a Doctor search engine automatically searches in the participant’s plan network. If a participant accesses Find a Doctor through the UMR or UHC websites, he or she will have to select the correct network from among the many listed options. For the best search experience, encourage your employees to use Find a Doctor through the Employee Benefits website.
