Annual Renewal Opens Tomorrow

Annual renewal for NRECA group benefit plans opens August 14. Rate sheets for 2026 will be sent by email to the primary benefits administrator for each subgroup with group benefit plans tomorrow morning. Rates will also be available in the new Group Plan Management event on the Employee Benefits website. Renewal calculations and other co-op-specific reports for cooperatives with 100 or more covered participants will also be sent by a separate email.

Use the Group Plan Management event to send in your annual renewals for group benefit plans, which are due September 26. For instructions and reminders on selecting subgroups, managing COBRA administration, confirming plans and completing other tasks from the landing page, visit the Group Plan Management Overview page in the BA Guide. You can also check out this video for a quick peek.

Visit the Annual Renewal Guidance page in the BA Guide to find out more about the actions you need to take and to access the materials for annual renewal, such as the option guides and renewal rate calculation explanations. The page provides updated information, including a checklist of things benefits administrators should do and consider for annual renewal.

Before you confirm or make changes, we ask that you carefully review your plans to ensure that you are accurately developing the plan designs you intend to adopt for 2026.

If you have questions or need help with annual renewal, speak with your field representative. You also can contact the Member Contact Center at 866.673.2299 or contactcenter@nreca.coop.
