Annual Renewal Opens Next Week

The Benefit Plan Rating and Renewal feature of the Employee Benefits website opens next Wednesday, August 12, for the 2021 Group Benefits Annual Renewal. The annual renewal deadline is September 25, 2020.

Using the Benefit Plan Rating and Renewal feature, you can:

  • View your cooperative’s 2021 renewal rates
  • Confirm existing plans
  • Make plan changes
  • Model new plan designs and options

2021 renewal rates emailed
Be on the lookout for a report with your co-op’s 2021 group benefit renewal rates, which will be emailed to the primary benefits administrator for each subgroup with NRECA group benefit plans on August 12. The email will also have a link to the revamped BA Guide Annual Renewal page with expanded and updated information on annual renewal as well as the 2021 renewal materials.

Experience-rated co-ops that cover 100 or more lives also will receive an electronic renewal package by a separate email with their co-op-specific renewal calculation and reports.

Note: Annual enrollment materials will be posted online by the end of August. Annual enrollment will run from October 19 – November 19, 2020.
