Annual Base Salary Data Due October 13; Reminder to Check New Job Position Descriptions

As communicated previously, November 15 base salary information is due Friday, October 13. This information will be submitted through the enhanced November 15 base salary collection process through NRECA’s Employee Benefits website. Before submitting your data, be sure to view the recorded webinar to learn about the new collection event as well as the updated job classification system.

Timely submission is important
Remember, the information you submit affects the 2018 billing for your NRECA salary-based group insurance and/or Retirement Security (RS) Plan benefits. Timely submission of your cooperative’s data ensures accurate annual enrollment elections, 2018 billing and RS Plan projections and payments.

New job classification tips
As a reminder, the collection process displays the new job positions. The old job code assigned to the employee has been mapped to the equivalent position in the new structure. As you review the employment classification for your co-op’s employees, please take a moment to verify the job position description to ensure that the selection is accurate. For example, there are entry level and experienced accountant positions. Please verify that you select the level that is appropriate for the employee.

Accurate job position information assists NRECA in developing career-advancing resources and targeted messaging as well as improving the data for the National Compensation System.
