Recap: The Invitational Teams Steps Challenge

The Invitational Team Steps Challenge recently closed out this year’s FutureMe challenges with a bang. The five-week challenge encouraging friendly competition between teams at cooperatives across the country netted these impressive numbers:

  • 244 teams
  • 1,210 individual participants
  • 33.4 million total steps
  • 9,393 average steps per day (individual)

Congratulations to all who participated! FutureMe challenges like the Invitational are designed to inspire participants to keep active and maintain healthy habits.

Additionally, a random prize drawing was held for all registered participants. Congratulations to the individuals from two teams  who each received a $100 digital gift card and $100 to donate to the charity of their choice. The winning teams were from Roosevelt Public Power District in western Nebraska and Tri-County Electric Cooperative in north Texas.
