Outreach to Encourage Use of Exclusive Choice Pharmacies

CVS Caremark^®, NRECA’s pharmacy benefit manager, is sending a letter to select NRECA Medical Plan participants* later this month to highlight the money-saving benefits of using Exclusive Choice pharmacies.

The letter will be sent to plan participants who are not using an Exclusive Choice pharmacy to fill their prescriptions for maintenance medications.

Unique to NRECA, the Exclusive Choice network offers greater price discounts on all prescription drugs. Exclusive Choice pharmacies include CVS (including inside Target stores), Walmart, Sam’s Club, The Medicine Shoppe and various independent pharmacies across the country. CVS Caremark Mail Service is also part of the Exclusive Choice network.

The letter will include a list of Exclusive Choice pharmacies closest to the participant’s home address. Participants can view the complete list of Exclusive Choice pharmacies on the NRECA Employee Benefits website: cooperative.com > My Benefits > My Insurance > Prescription Drug, under Pharmacy Networks.
