Vendor for Joint & Spine Surgery Centers of Excellence Program Changing Names

BridgeHealth, which administers NRECA’s Joint & Spine Surgery Centers of Excellence program, will change its name to Transcarent Surgery Care, effective June 17.

Although the name is changing, the program’s benefits and features will remain the same. There will be no impact on participants currently enrolled in the program.

Transcarent acquired BridgeHealth and is committed to continuing to deliver high-quality surgical care and an exceptional patient experience through the Joint & Spine Surgery Centers of Excellence. The program offers NRECA Medical Plan participants access to cost-effective joint and spine surgical care from top medical facilities and doctors across the country, while offering a personalized care coordinator.

The phone number, 855.435.5790, will remain the same for you and participants who contact program personnel. A new email address, surgerycare@transcarent.com, will go into effect June 17, but the existing email address will continue to work for an extended period of time.

NRECA will update its resources on the BA Guide—which you can use to educate your employees about the program—with the new email address and inform you when those are available.
