Compliance Reporting Data Due February 15

Compliance annual reporting for the 2021 plan year is now underway. The due date to send your cooperative’s questionnaire and W-2 salary data is Tuesday, February 15. This information helps the benefits compliance team perform annual required nondiscrimination testing on the 401(k) Pension Plan.

As you prepare your data, make use of these resources, all of which can be found on the Employee Benefits website. The W-2 Salary Data & Retirement Compliance Questionnaire page of the BA Guide contains the Retirement Compliance Questionnaire, the Compliance Resource Guide and the File Formats for Contributions and Salary Information (with the layout you’ll need to format your W-2 salary data for import).

You can also listen to the recorded Compliance Annual Reporting webinar for complete reporting instructions. When your questionnaire is ready, use the Message Center to securely send it to the benefits compliance team. Retain a full copy in your files in case NRECA needs to clarify your data.
