New Materials Available on COVID-19 Vaccination Education

Vaccination rates continue to tick up across the country, with 57% of adults fully vaccinated as of July 1.

This great news means our communities are safer now and local economies will continue to improve as restrictions begin to lift across the country. However, health officials say 70% of the population needs to be fully vaccinated to attain herd immunity and provide the greatest protection.

Research indicates that concerns around the safety, cost and availability of vaccines are keeping many hesitant individuals from being vaccinated. In response, NRECA has developed two new resources that address these concerns for cooperatives to share with participants.

An infographic and a poster, both called “Conquering COVID-19: The 3 Fs of Getting Vaccinated,” are available on the COVID 19: Information and Resources page for benefits administrators on the NRECA Employee Benefits website. The infographic will also be available on the participant landing page when they log into the website. We encourage you to use the poster in your co-op’s breakroom and post the infographic on your co-op’s intranet or digital display signage.

Additionally, the April 14 NRECA Employee Benefits Weekly includes a list of other vaccination-related resources addressing frequently asked questions, facts and more to which you can direct participants.
