TD Ameritrade Reduces 401(k) SDBA Commissions

Effective March 6, 2017, TD Ameritrade is reducing the online equity and exchange-traded fund trade commissions from $9.99 to $6.95. This fee reduction applies to all 401(k) Pension Plan self-directed brokerage accounts (SDBA).

The SDBA is a brokerage window that provides access to publicly-traded securities and mutual funds – with individuals acting as their own investment manager.

To learn more about the SDBA option, visit the Employee Benefits website at Cooperative.com > My Retirement > Self-Directed Brokerage Account. Current SDBA holders with questions about their accounts or the new commission structure should contact TD Ameritrade.
